Our Graco Pack and Play arrived today. I missed the UPS truck yesterday while I was volunteering for the rabbit rescue but they redelivered it today and I'm so in love with it. It's the Meadow Menagerie design, neutral tan and dusty teal colors with mushrooms and owls and squirrels. I felt pretty excited after Mike put it together. The cats seem to like hiding underneath of it, I'm just waiting for them to jump in it so I can teach them that's wrong. But who knows, maybe it'll look too strange for them to want to jump in. Now I really just want to bring my baby home and try it out. I'm getting less movement during the day, which always ends up making me worry but when I lay down to go to sleep around 2am, Baby Bear becomes a regular Kung Fu Panda. I can see how some women get addicted to being pregnant. Those feelings cause utter bliss. I went to drop off some food for my parents' dog after my volunteer work today and stopped at the Dollar Tree on my way home because my mom showed me a couple of windchimes she had picked up. I didn't have the idea while checking hers out but when I saw all the different ones they had on the wall, I decided to get one of each and I'm going to hang them in the baby's room. They're a butterfly, dragonfly, ladybug, turtle, snail, and frog and I think they'll look so cute with the wildlife theme of the room. I didn't want to just do a single type of animal theme, like jungle or ocean. I'm hoping to foster an appreciation for all animals in our child. I'm hoping to hang them up before Mike sees them because I don't think he'll be able to picture what it is I want to do with them before I do it.
